Gardening Fun with Jackie
Perfect for National Learn About Composting Day, The Soil in Jackie’s Garden introduces budding gardeners to the magic happening in their backyard with beautiful visuals that open vertically to showcase the secrets beneath the soil’s surface. Follow Jackie and her diverse friends as they meet pollinators, measure progress, and patiently wait for their sweet snacks to grow. But it doesn’t stop there — the soil is packed with critters creating compost for next season’s seeds! (Ages 6-8)

This is fantastic! We bought our first house last summer and we are really getting into gardening and growing things this year. My 10 yr old is in love with digging and all my girls love trying to tackle to bindweeds with the 9 ft tap roots. It's wild to see them come out whole.

ReplyDeleteAs a gardener myself, I think this is a great way to get kids interested in gardening. I started gardening early in life, before I hit my teen years and it's stuck with me throughout my life. I think if I had known about this product when my kids were small I might have had more success in introducing them to gardening.
