    Thank you for participating in this Hop. Breast cancer does not run in my family and fortunately every mammogram that I have had done so far has been negative, but it is important for every woman to keep up to date with testing and treatment if necessary, And don't forget that breast cancer can occur in men as well

    My cousin was diagnosed earlier this year. So far its not good and it hurts my heart to watch her go through this. She has lost her mom and sister within the past 2 yrs to the same thing.

    My grandma passed from breast cancer last year, and an aunt was currently diagnosed with it. I've had someone who was like an aunt pass away from it awhile ago (that anniversary is coming up). It's very important to stay on top of doctor appointments!

    An aunt dealt with breast cancer for years. She beat the cancer, but the medicine she had to stay on long term to prevent reoccurrence is what killed. So she died indirectly from breast cancer. Any chronic or serious illness is tough, not just breast cancer, however.

    One of my co-workers has breast cancer that keeps coming back. You'd never know it if you didn't work in her area because she still keeps coming to work and going through it, in part because insurance doesn't pay enough, even though she does have the cancer benefit. :(
