Now that March is coming to an end and summer is just around the corner, my husband and I have been delightfully getting our house in order. We started with a deep spring cleaning, followed by some much needed gardening and landscaping around our property. It wasn't long before we focused our attention on little Rascal, helping to ensure he sheds his winter coat in preparation for warmer spring weather. With such a heavy coat, we knew there was only one place he could get the gentle, thorough expertise he needed, so we took him to see the wonderful groomers at PetSmart® Grooming!
Our journey began by loading up into the car and heading over to our local PetSmart. After a short drive, Rascal saw the unmistakable big red and blue PetSmart sign and immediately got excited! Having gone there plenty of times before for various supplies, or just to visit with the friendly associates, Rascal considers it his 'home away from home'. When we got inside, Rascal was quick to say hi to each cashier then happily followed me back to the grooming area where he introduced himself and confirmed his preferred look before getting his groom underway.
To adequately prepare him for the weather to come, we opted to get Rascal a short 'puppy cut' with a teddy bear style head and the CHI add-on package, which helps make his fur soft, silky, and smell great! Even though Rascal seemed a little nervous, we knew he was in good hands because all PetSmart salon associates acquire annual safety certification and learn about dog anatomy, signs of stress, and common pet medical conditions. Within about two hours, we had a brand new super-soft puppy that smelled incredible and we owe it all to the amazing groomers at PetSmart Grooming!
