Effortless Beach Style

If you are someone who loves to spend time on the beach, and you also like to look your best, but you also don’t want to spend huge amounts of time on your look, then you need effortless beach style in your life.

Effortless beach style is that laidback look that feels like you have just thrown something on, but which subtly hints at your style credentials, while also ensuring your comfort is of paramount importance, too.

If that sounds like a look you can get on board with, here are some tips to help you create an effortless beach style all of your own:

Try on a t-shirt dress

If you want to look effortlessly chic on the beach, then you cannot beat a simple t-shirt dress like many of these Called to Surf dresses. They are great because you can easily throw them on over your bikini or swimsuit when you want to cover up, and they are so loose and free that they will not restrict you or make you overly hot. They also look effortlessly cool, and if you choose sailor stripes or plain blue, then they offer perfect beach vibes too.

Or an open shirt

If the t-shirt dress is not your thing, another option is to wear a crisp white shirt with your swimsuit instead. Wear it open for a really casual look or tie it in a knot for a cooler style, and it will make the perfect cover-up. Boyfriend shirts are best, but if you prefer a more fitted look, that will absolutely work too.

Mix and match

If you plan to wear a bikini, then mixing and matching your bikini tops and bottoms will give you a more interesting look than wearing a matching set, especially if you use clashing patterns to really make a statement.

Slip-on some sunglasses

A good pair of sunglasses that really suit your face shape always help to pull your outfit together and make you look more polished even if you are keeping it more casual, and of course, you will need to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes on the beach anyway.

Say it with straw

When it comes to effortless beach accessories, you cannot go wrong with a wide-brimmed straw hat and a matching straw purse. Made for the beach, straw accessories add a sophisticated, yet somehow laid-back vibe to any beach outfit you can think of. Tight woven straw accessories tend to look a bit more formal whereas loosely woven ones will give you a more laidback surfer vibe, but they are all good really.

Layer your look

If you plan to wear jewelry, then layering several bracelets or necklaces will add a point of interest to your outfit when you are showing more skin than usual, due to being on the beach. It will create a point of interest.

Now you can always look amazing o the beach, even if you don’t have a huge amount of time to dedicate to your outfit, and best of all, you will feel super comfortable in whatever you wear too!
