Becoming Happier In Yourself This Summer


Summertime is a time when most of us want to be getting out of the house and exploring with the people we love. Being out and about in the world is a great way to spend our time - however confidence can sometimes stop us from doing everything we want. 

Today we want to talk about how you can improve your confidence both inside and out, and as a result how you can get out into the world and live life to the fullest this year. We know that it can be easy to fall into bad habits and into bad opinions of yourself, but by making some outward and inward changes this week you can feel like a new version of you and better as a result. 

Wear flattering clothing 

One of the first things you can do if you want to make a positive change to your life this year is wear more flattering clothing. Every body shape is different and as a result everyone has their own shapes and colors that will work for them. The first test is to find out what body type you are. You can do this using a quiz online and measure yourself, and once you have done this you can move on and start to find clothes that suit your body. Making this change can hugely impact your confidence and you will likely discover lots of different styles that you never thought of wearing before. 

Work toward your goals 

One inward change you can make this year is to follow the likes of Vince Offer and other personalities and follow your ambitions. Following your dreams can be as small as figuring out what you want to do, or as big as gaining a qualification in the field you want to work in. Start small and dedicate some of your time to your goals and this will make you feel more confident inside as you’ll be doing something that means the world to you.

Keep makeup natural 

Makeup is an accessory and should never be a way to mask your true beauty. Many people make the mistake of doing their makeup heavily and ending up with caked on makeup that just won’t do you any favors. Make sure this week to try a more natural approach to your makeup routine by using a low coverage foundation, some translucent powder, and going lighter on the bronzer and the highlight. Allow the makeup to simply enhance your natural features and make you feel more beautiful. 

Get a fresh trim 

A fresh haircut is always a fun way to change your look and improve your confidence. When building your confidence, getting a new haircut can be fun and even if it is only a small face framing trim it will make you feel refreshed and happier in yourself. Learning new ways to style your hair can also be a great thing and it will allow you to not get stuck in a rut with tangled and boring hair.
