    I Like to make my family a festive meal with cupcakes or a cake. We give the kids a little surprise... usually a stuffed animal and a book instead of candy.

  43. It is surprising that my husband is not a real fan of Valentine's Day as it is the day I was surprised with flowers anonymously and then 4 yrs later on the same day got engaged. But we do like to have a nice quiet dinner together.

  78. My partner and I haven't celebrated much in the past. I think we did shrimp scampi for dinner at home last year. I would really like to do a tasting menu / four course meal at home this year. We have toddlers, and it's hard to find someone we trust to watch our kids, so we opt for at-home dates most of the time. :)
